For costume jewellery, I lean towards bold, statement pieces from mid-century designers such as Georg Jensen, Sherman, Miriam Haskell, Chanel, YSL, Schreiner, Christian Dior, Trifari, Weiss. I look for originality, striking colours, and interesting materials like Bakelite or glass beads. When buying, I assess the overall condition, craftsmanship, and whether the piece still holds its visual appeal and charm despite being a more affordable option.
